Data Deletion

You can ask us at any time to delete your personal data from Dos Palomitas. This page explains how to do it, what happens next and what information we must keep because of a legal obligation. It applies to website visitors, people who wrote to us and people who received a WhatsApp survey.

Option 1. Stop receiving surveys (immediate)

If you only want us to stop messaging you on WhatsApp:

• tap the "No recibir encuestas" ("Do not receive surveys") button in the message, or
• reply BAJA in the conversation.

Your opt-out is registered immediately and you will not receive further surveys. This does not by itself delete the data that already exists; for that, use option 2.

Option 2. Request deletion of your data

Send an email to privacidad@dospalomitas.com with the subject "Data deletion", or write to us through the contact form mentioning "Data deletion", and include:

1. Your full name.
2. The phone number of the WhatsApp account the survey was sent to (with country code, for example +52 55 0000 0000), if applicable.
3. The email address you used to write to us, if applicable.
4. If you know it, the name of the company that sent you the survey.
5. A simple copy of an official ID, so that nobody else can request deletion of your data. We use it only to verify your identity and delete it afterwards.

What happens next

• We will confirm receipt of your request.
• We will reply with the outcome within a maximum of 20 business days.
• If the data belongs to a client company for which we process data as a processor, the request is handled in coordination with that company.

What we delete

• Your name, mobile number and contact details associated with surveys.
• Your answers, comments and recognitions, or their association with you, so that they can no longer be linked to you.
• The messages and data you sent us through the contact form or by email.

What we may keep

• Opt-out record: the minimum needed (for example, your phone number) so we do not contact you again. Without it we could not honor your decision.
• Information the law requires us to keep, such as tax, accounting or contractual records, for the periods set by applicable law and only for that purpose.
• Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you, for example rating averages.

Data Meta may hold

WhatsApp messages also pass through Meta's platform, which processes certain data under its own policies. If you want to delete data held by Meta, you must request it directly from WhatsApp or Meta through your account settings or their privacy center.
